Cycle II Extra Credit English III

Being a junior means many things, HSPA, SATs, and all that good stuff =). However, the fun part about junior year is COLLEGE! Looking for colleges, visiting schools, and learning more about which school is the perfect match for you. You have the opportunity to do some of the research while earning extra credit points for cycle II, sounds like a win win to me! This is what you will do. RESEARCH 2 colleges/universities that you are interested in. Then you post your findings so your peers could also learn about your 2 schools.

You will post:
·         School Name
·         Location
·         Population
·         SAT scores
·         GPA requirements
·         5 majors that school offers
·         Student Life

You must also write 1 paragraph telling me and your peers WHY you chose the schools you did and why you think they are a good match for you.

Due Date: Monday 2/3/2014

I picked these 2 schools mainly because they have the major I want to look into which is very rare. Also, these schools aren't as close to home but they aren't too far, just the right distance. Both schools have an attainable acceptance as well. They both offer financial aid and have tons of scholarships. Also, depending on your major, both schools offer very good internships. Each school has so many activities and clubs to offer too, which is a plus.

The reason I chose this school as my second choice is because of the majors they have. I have been looking towards law since my 8th grade summer, and I have been attending Seton hall law school since freshmen year, learning more about law and participating in moot court mock trials. Also, I chose this school because the in-state tuition is affordable, and the student life has caught my attention. The S.A.T score is completely do-able, and I have more than a 3.0 g.p.a as my average, so there shouldn't be a problem with admission.
